The fire extinguisher training that I received really has been useful to me. It has helped my colleagues at work once and myself once in my own home. I never thought that after getting the training I would ever have to use it. I actually laughed and joked with my work colleagues about how pointless the training seemed. But after the fire at work we did not really laugh. I was just glad I was able to get it under control enough that people could get out safely. Without the training to use the fire extinguisher, we probably would of been looking to move office after the accident. But luckily I had the fire extinguisher training and I was able to put the fire out and save the small office building. I think a lot of my colleagues are glad that I was given the fire extinguisher training after that incident.
